This book is so full of detail - so he is really getting railed to figure out what the heck went on, he was drugged for sure but it seems like he is the only one seeking the truth/plus Martha. Man his father is a prick - I was so thinking he was going to drop him right there, even if he had a heart attack. I don't like this lawyer he has either-seems like he is just a puppet. Sad what happened to his sister, I am glad they shared it so I could stop filling in the blanks. Curious to see what happens between him and Sydney and what else they discover on this boat ride!
Hard to think back and remember what happened in these chapters... Hope I don't spoil anything! Scott is a scum bag - from the first scene with him I was like something is not right with this guy... I like Sydney Im glad there's a love interest for him - kind of feel bad for him. The cops suck. I know there's a lot of "evidence" and just wrong place wrong time but geez innocent until proven guilty!! I feel bad for Martha. I can't imagine having to go through what she's going through...
It's nice to have some back story now, I hope they keep looking to find evidence that he is guilty. Sam seems like a tool I keep getting suspicious of him, and now his lawyer seems like one too. A lot of bad stuff happens to these two, sucks for them.
