Quite A Year For Plums by Bailey White

Well... I'm not sure what to say about this book. It was a pretty quick read but honestly I didn't like it. There were too many main charecters and I kept having to flip back to the front of the book to remember who was who - that got annoying. The stories were too short for me to really get into and I didn't feel the book was about anything. It was like it started and ended in the middle of a longer story - if that makes sense. I wouldn't recommend this one....

  2. Well I kind of agree. It was a quick read. It was a bit amusing but I think I only kept on reading it because I was waiting for something to happen. It really was about nothing. I actually was wondering who was going to die by the end of it, but no one did. I also could not keep up with the characters and had to keep checking to see who was who. Ethel, for instance, was really a pointless character in the book to me. They could have just said who she was and left her out of the book. I feel it would have been the same story without her.

  3. So I agree. A pretty pointless book. Was waiting for the punchline. The characters were hard to follow, but it was a quick read. I kept expecting something huge to happen so was a little let down when it just kinda ended. Interesting group of stories though
